Name Scott P. Keehn
Address I have lived in Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan since January, 1982.  There are several places from which Mt. Fuji can be seen on the U.S. Navy Base in Yokosuka, where I work.  Fortunately, I can not see Mt. Fuji from my office.  If I could, I might never get any work done!
Camera I use several cameras.  I have an old Canon AE-1, with either a 50mm, 28mm W/A, or 300mm Telephoto lens.  I also have a Canon AutoBoy Jet, with a built-in 35-110mm zoom lens.  I usually use standard Kodak or Fuji ASA-200 film with either of these cameras.  Since late 2001 I have been using a Sony Cyber-Shot digital camera, model F505V.
Thoughts of Fuji This beautiful mountain, Mt. Fuji, is a ronin, a lone warrior standing watch over the battlefield of urban (urbane?) existence.  It is also a reminder of the strength and beauty of individuality amidst the Japanese group consciousness.  (and, yes, I know what urbane means, and how it can be used to twist the context of this phrase.)
E-mail I prefer that you use my Feedback Form to contact me.
Other I love to travel around Japan, visiting beautiful and interesting places and events with my family and friends (please see my FAQs page, and check the links to my other pages below.)  I enjoy hiking, even on Mt. Fuji.  But you can't enjoy the beautiful profile of this mountain when you are standing on it.  I've been to the top of Fuji-san at least 17 times, but you know what they say about that!
